The future of education is going to be optimized towards not only recognising and appreciating individual learning interests but also building on very personal approach to learning or is not going to be at all. Many educational institutions faced the various challenges of change during last few years, not to mention their changes and challenges over last 100 years, but the capability of students will impact the institutions in more intense way in future. Online / distant learning and new courses tailored to the needs of immediate environment were just the beginning. Next steps are not likely to be articualted in terminology of the education as we used to know it.

Besides the trend of mobility there is also a big trend in visual communications. Digital imaging and photography are part of that. I enjoy seeing that TIG members dedicate much interest in visual contents. Works of people there and the exchanges of experiences online through visual medium are really boundless in overcoming social and cultural gaps, conquering time and space.
It is so good to see that TIG community dedicated much to its visual contents. Photographies and graphic works of art are really inspiring and informing as they involve more and more of new staff. Visual aspect plays great role in community development. Not only that 1 picture tells more than 1000 words, but also picture goes beyond boundaries of language translations. This way visual content enhance and improve the quality of exchange of not only informative but also emotional side giving possibility for complete experience exchanges. I was particularly moved with photos from Africa outlined in July.
